The Grundy County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all the bridges and roads in the Grundy County Highway System.

In addition to constructing and maintaining the 135 miles of roads and 39 bridges on the County Highway System, the department assists the 16 townships of Grundy County in the construction and maintenance of their 696 miles of highways and 142 bridges.

The Grundy County Highway Department is kept busy throughout the year maintaining the roadways.

Summer Maintenance:
