Jail Division

The Grundy County Jail provides for the custody of individuals awaiting trial, serving sentences up to (1) year or those sentenced to periodic imprisonment. Capacity for the Jail is (65) inmates.

Visiting hours for female prisoners are:

Sundays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 10:00 pm.

Visiting hours for male prisoners are:

Sundays from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and Wednesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
