Land Use Department

Welcome to the Land Use Department!

As a fairly new addition to the many fine departments of the county, we have adopted this goal as we serve the residents of Grundy County:

To promote a safe, healthy, balanced community that preserves our natural resources and educates our residents to continue this pursuit for future generations of Grundy residents.’

The Land Use Department has three departments to serve Grundy County’s needs. The Solid Waste Department, the Building and Zoning Department and the Planning Department are the fabric that makes up our Land Use Department.
