The Grundy County 9-1-1 Center is a state-of-the-art communications center staffed 24 hours a day every day of the year. Telecommunicators are responsible for handling all types of calls in all types of emergencies.

All of the Sheriff's Telcommunicators are Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) Certified and dispatch for various local Fire and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Agencies
