The Grundy County Veterans' Assistance Commission is a County Agency that is operated by and for veterans.

The Commission provides needed interim and/or emergency financial assistance paid exclusively to Honorably Discharged Military Veterans and their families, who reside in Grundy County, for basic living expenses.

Local veteran organizations are responsible for forming a GCVAC.
