Health Department consists of five Divisions:
Mental Health Division:
- Programs to serve clients with substance and alcohol abuse
- Programs available for adolescents and 60 plus individuals
- Counseling
- Med monitoring
- Med management
- Crisis intervention
- Psychiatric services
Nursing Division:
- Child, Adult Immunizations, TB Testing
- Pregnancy Testing
- Medicaid application assistance
- Vision & Hearing Testing
- WIC – Women, Infant and Children supplemental nutrition program
- FCM – Family Case Management
- TPS – Teen parent Services
- Communicable Disease Surveillance
- School Nursing
- Referral
Environmental Health Division:
Provides 3 of the 4 Essential Functions that are mandatory under the Local Health Protection Act:
- Potable water
- Private sewage
- Food sanitation
Other Programs Include:
- Plan Reviews
- Nuisance investigations
- Tanning
- West Nile Virus
- Tattooing and body piercing
- Smoke Free Illinois
Administration Division:
- Office Manager: maintains, updates personnel records, IT coordinator, BOH secretary, payroll.
- Book Keeper: grant tracker, prepare monthly claims, monthly financial report, overall knowledge of other departmental billing, track expenses and revenue, billing, date entry, fiscal reporting.
Seniors Division:
- Residential Home Repair (a grant helps to reimburse up to $500 to assist seniors)
- Medication Management
- Flexible Community Services
- Community Care Program (CCP)
- Home Delivered Meals
- Flexible Senior Services
- Information and Assistance
- Family Caregiver Resource Center and Information/Assistance (CRC)
- Respite
- GAP filling
- Caregiver Counseling Center(CCC)
