You just filled out our online form to volunteer during Covid and when I say thank you for signing up to volunteer I truly mean it! More now than ever we are in need of additional help and we are amazed at the response from our small community.

I have been able to talk with some of you over the phone and I apologize if I have not called you back as we are extremely busy with starting to plan for Covid Vaccinations.

With us being a county it is not an easy task to be able to accept “official” volunteers, and there is some additional information that we would ask that you fill out (below this message).  With this packet we ask that you fill out the information and you may return it by;

  1. Mail it to 1320 Union Street Morris
  2. Hand deliver to 1320 Union Street Morris

**Please attach or bring in a copy of your driver’s license and Medical License if applicable. If you drop off your packets you may have your licenses copied by our front desk.**

One more thing we wanted to mention is in an effort to have volunteers that can be called upon year round the Grundy County Health Department has a volunteer group called our Medical Reserve Corps [MRC].  We know this is not for everyone however, if this may be something you are interested in please let me know. Our MRC is our first group that we reach out to when help is needed for some of the following activities listed below.

With that, I hope you guys have a great weekend and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email or my office phone.

Again, thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
