2022 Taxes Due 2023The 2022 payable in 2023 property tax cycle has now ended. Any property taxes that were not paid before November 8th have been sold at the annual tax sale. See below for a link to the County Clerk’s Redemption process.

County Tax Sale InfoFuture tax sales are held at the Grundy County Administration Building located at 1320 Union St, Morris, IL 60450.
You must register to participate in the tax sale.

If your taxes were sold at tax sale, you will need to redeem the unpaid taxes plus any fees in the County Clerk’s office.

Mobile Home Tax BillsGrundy County Collector has mailed mobile home tax bills, with payment due date of September 1, 2023. For your convenience payments may be mailed directly to PO Box 689, Morris, or made in person at the courthouse located at 111 E. Washington St. Room 33.
Treasurer’s ResponsibilitiesThe Treasurer is elected by the People of Grundy County and commissioned by the Governor to be the county’s Chief Financial Officer.
With the assistance of his professional staff, the Treasurer receives tax revenue and other public money, safely keeps those funds, and disburses that money pursuant to the law.
Simply put, the Treasurer is responsible for the safety and security of county tax dollars—now and in the future.
